There's something so special about maternity sessions, especially when they're happening during a little babymoon by the beach!
Heather and Luke traveled all the way from Minnesota to spend some time in Marco Island, staying at Luke's grandfather's home. They were expecting their first baby, a little girl, and wanted to take advantage of their time in Florida to have some beautiful maternity photos by the ocean.
Heather had a vision for her session. She wanted something a little more boho, relaxed, and romantic, and I absolutely loved it!
We met at the beach right around sunset, and honestly, everything came together so beautifully. They were so easygoing and open to my ideas, which made the entire session feel so natural.
One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting to know the people in front of my camera. Heather and I ended up talking about astrology and zodiac signs, something we both love, haha! It was one of those little conversations that made us connect right away.
They were so excited to welcome their baby girl, and even though they hadn't picked out a name yet, you could already see how much love they had for her.
We had the prettiest sunset, the softest light, and such a beautiful evening together. I loved how their photos turned out, especially because they really reflected the relaxed, boho feeling Heather had imagined.
So happy I got to be part of this sweet chapter before they became a family of three!
