Not every couples session needs a special occasion, and I absolutely love that!

Makayla and Cam were visiting Bonita Springs, Florida, from Rhode Island to celebrate Makayla's birthday. They had been together for almost ten years and realized they had never really had a professional couples session together. So they thought, why not?

Since they already had dinner plans for the evening, we decided to meet at Bonita Beach for a sunrise couples session instead, and I'm so happy we did!

From the moment I met them, I loved their style. They both had this relaxed, boho vibe, and honestly, it matched their personalities so well.

One of my favorite things about this session was how open they were to trying different things. Sometimes couples come to me with a very specific vision or photos they want to recreate, which I absolutely love too! But Makayla and Cam gave me so much creative freedom, and we ended up doing something a little different.

We moved around, laughed, played with different poses, and just had fun with it. There was so much movement throughout the session, and I think that's exactly what makes their gallery so special.

They weren't taking photos for an engagement announcement or any particular reason. They simply wanted to remember this trip, this birthday, and this chapter of their lives together.

And honestly, I think that's a pretty good reason to book a photoshoot!

I loved how their photos turned out. A little boho, a little playful, and so much personality. Definitely one of those sessions where I got to have a little extra fun with my creativity!

So happy I got to meet these two!
